Bitcoin rises as the crypto market cap tops $2.25T
Most major coins finish higher, but Ethereum and several large altcoins still sit below trend.
Crypto ends mixed to higher. Bitcoin rises 1.5% to 63,169.7617, Ethereum adds 0.2% to 1,746.3199, Solana gains 0.3% to 78.03, XRP climbs 0.5% to 1.0954, and BNB edges up 0.3% to 570.03.
Dogecoin rises 1.0% to 0.073, even after a weak multi-week stretch. Solana is up 12.1% over the past month, but it remains below its 200-day moving average, as do Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, BNB, and Dogecoin.
The total crypto market cap rises 1.0% to $2.25T. Bitcoin dominance stands at 56.3%, and Ethereum dominance is 9.4%.
