Bitcoin dips as the crypto market pulls back

Digital assets slip with the broader risk tone, even as Bitcoin stays above its 50-day average.

Crypto trades lower across the board. Bitcoin falls 1.1% to 64,614.9805, Ethereum drops 1.2% to 1,931.0, Solana loses 1.8% to 75.23, and XRP falls 2.8% to 1.081. Dogecoin slips 2.3% to 0.0716.

The total crypto market cap declines 1.1% to $2.3T, while Bitcoin dominance holds at 56.5% and Ethereum dominance sits at 10.2%. That leaves the market concentrated even as prices soften.

Bitcoin remains above its 50-day moving average but below its 200-day average. Ethereum is also below its 200-day average, and XRP sits well under both its 50-day and 200-day lines.

CoinDesk says Bitcoin is shrugging off the AI selloff for now, but the next Fed meeting could matter. For today, though, the tape is simple: the biggest tokens are red, and the market cap is a little smaller than it was 24 hours ago.
