Bitcoin inches up as the crypto market cap barely grows
Coins mostly trade mixed, with Ethereum outperforming and Solana lagging.
Bitcoin rises 0.2% to 63,853.2, while Ethereum climbs 1.5% to 1,918.6. The total crypto market cap edges up 0.1% to $2.3T.
Among the larger coins, Solana falls 0.3% to 73.91, XRP is basically flat at 1.0655, BNB gains 0.7% to 569.69, and Dogecoin rises 0.7% to 0.0708.
Bitcoin still trades below its 200-day average, and Ethereum does too, so the broader crypto backdrop remains below longer-term trend levels despite today’s bounce.
Market dominance stays tilted toward Bitcoin at 56.4%, with Ethereum at 10.2%.
