Growth funds lag while value tilts hold up better

Broad U.S. funds edge higher, but Nasdaq-heavy products remain under pressure.

SPY rises 0.2%, VFIAX adds 0.0%, FXAIX is up 0.0%, and VTI gains 0.2%, showing the broad market still closes green despite a weak tech tape. DIA outperforms the major U.S. funds, up 1.1%.

QQQ falls 1.0% and remains down 4.7% over one week and 4.4% over one month. That lines up with the day’s sector split, where Tech is the weakest major group.

On the fixed-income side, TLT rises 0.6% while VBTLX adds 0.1%. Both remain below their 200-day averages, which keeps the bond fund backdrop mixed.

EFA is basically flat at down 0.0%, suggesting international developed markets are also trading without much conviction.
