Index funds track the broad rally, while bonds stay soft

Equity funds mirror the stronger close in stocks, but bond funds do not get much lift.

Equity funds finish higher across the board. SPY gains 1.7%, QQQ rises 3.3%, DIA adds 1.2%, IWM climbs 1.4%, and VTI advances 1.6%. EFA also rises 2.8%, matching the strength in overseas equities.

Bond exposure is softer. TLT slips 0.1%, VBTLX falls 0.4%, and VWELX drops 1.1%. That lines up with the higher Treasury yields on the day.

Gold-linked exposure also benefits from the commodity move, with GLD up 1.6% to 377.16. The fund tape mirrors the day’s simple market script: stocks and metals stronger, duration weaker.
