Palantir and Snap headline a busy earnings tape
Big tech, AI, and consumer internet names keep earnings in focus, while several major reports are still ahead.
Palantir soars 12% after a blowout quarter, with U.S. commercial revenue up nearly 150%, according to CNBC Markets. Snap also jumps 8% on an earnings beat and stronger sales forecast. The earnings feed says both companies are lifting sentiment in the AI and ad-tech corners of the market.
Amazon tops $3T in market cap as its post-earnings surge continues, and Microsoft rises 4.93% in the most-active list. CNBC also says Big Tech’s Anthropic and OpenAI stakes are distorting the corporate earnings picture, a reminder that some of the strongest-looking results have help from investment gains.
Looking ahead, tomorrow brings a full slate of reports, including ADM, CAT, AMD, AMGN, BKNG, APO, BALL, AIZ, APTV, ANET, BR, AME, AFG, ARDT, AGNT, ALGT, BRKR, AHCO, BXC, and ATKR. Those names give traders a mix of industrials, semis, healthcare, travel, insurance, and materials to watch.
