Bitcoin holds near the top of its range as the market cap grows
Crypto edges higher with Bitcoin, Ether and Solana all green, though the bigger trend is still below key moving averages.
Bitcoin rises 1.2% to 64235.75 and Ethereum gains 0.9% to 1875.42. Solana also adds 0.9% to 74.15, while XRP edges up 0.2% to 1.0764.
The total crypto market cap climbs 0.8% to $2.3T. Bitcoin dominance sits at 56.6%, with Ethereum at 9.9%.
The setup remains mixed under the surface. Bitcoin stays below its 200-day moving average, and Ethereum, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin are all also below theirs. BNB is one of the stronger large caps on the day, up 0.8% to 593.46.
CoinDesk headlines continue to center on tokenization, stablecoins and ETF positioning, while Bitcoin’s $63,000 zone is described as a key battleground for buyers. That said, the day’s price action is a modest rebound, not a breakout.
