Index funds track the broad stock rally

U.S. equity funds finish higher, while the bond fund lags and the mixed tone mirrors the broader asset mix.

Equity funds follow the stock rally. VFIAX rises 1.5% to 701.79, VTSAX gains 1.5% to 181.99, and FXAIX adds 1.5% to 264.23.

Vanguard Wellington climbs 1.0% to 47.08, while the bond side is softer. VBTLX edges up 0.2% to 9.51 but remains below its 200-day moving average.

The fund tape mirrors the main market story, which is all about growth-led strength and softer rates. That leaves diversified stock funds ahead and bond exposure more muted on the day.
