Bitcoin edges higher as the crypto market cap expands
Crypto prices are mostly green, though the market still sits well below last year’s levels in several major coins.
Bitcoin rises 0.9% to 64,618.8906, Ethereum gains 2.1% to 1,908.09 and Solana adds 0.3% to 73.97. BNB rises 0.2% to 594.25.
XRP falls 1.0% to 1.063, while Dogecoin is flat at 0.07. The crypto market cap increases 0.6% to $2.3T, with Bitcoin dominance at 56.6% and Ether dominance at 10.1%.
On the trend side, Bitcoin remains below its 200-day moving average, while Ethereum and Solana also sit below theirs. XRP is lower on the day and still well under its 200-day average.
The broader picture is a modestly firmer crypto session, led by the two largest coins.
