Stock funds rise with the market, bond funds stay subdued
Equity index funds notch gains, while the core bond fund is little changed.
The equity fund complex mirrors the stock tape. VFIAX and FXAIX both rise 1.8%, VTSAX gains 1.8% and VWELX adds 1.1%.
Among ETFs, SPY slips 0.2%, QQQ falls 0.9%, DIA rises 0.4%, IWM drops 0.6%, VTI declines 0.3% and EFA edges up 0.1%.
Bond exposure is quieter. TLT rises 0.2%, while VBTLX adds 0.3% and sits below its 200-day moving average.
GLD jumps 4.1%, echoing the strong move in gold itself.
