Airbnb leads a busy earnings tape
Strong beats, weak guidance, and sharp post-earnings selloffs define the day.
Airbnb is the cleanest winner in the earnings headlines. CNBC says the stock soars 9% on an earnings and revenue beat, plus strong third-quarter guidance. CNBC also notes strong demand across all regions.
The losers are harsher. MarketWatch says Honeywell Aerospace lands in Wall Street's penalty box after gloomy guidance, and CNBC reports AppLovin tanks on a Q2 revenue miss. Peloton posts its first-ever annual net profit, but shares drop as its outlook disappoints.
Other names on the board show how selective the market is being. Warner Bros. Discovery reports a 10% jump in streaming revenue ahead of its proposed Paramount combination, while Versant raises 2026 outlook on platform strength and ad momentum.
