Bitcoin drifts, memecoins pop, and the market cap edges lower
Crypto is mostly quiet at the top, with a few altcoins taking the lead.
Bitcoin slips 0.4% to 63,674.8008, while the total crypto market cap edges down 0.1% to $2.3T. Bitcoin dominance stands at 56.3%, and Ethereum dominance is 10.0%.
Ethereum rises 0.6% to 1,882.5699. Solana gains 0.5% to 76.35, BNB adds 2.3% to 612.67, and Dogecoin jumps 4.5% to 0.0728.
XRP rises 1.0% to 1.0214 even though it remains well below its 200-day moving average. BTC is also below its 200-day moving average, while BNB stays below its 50-day and 200-day levels too.
The day’s crypto headline list stays focused on the AI and ETF angle, but price action is fairly muted in the majors. That leaves the sector with a mixed tone rather than a clean breakout.
