Bitcoin and Ethereum inch higher as crypto holds steady
Crypto finishes positive but quiet, with a small rise in total market value.
Bitcoin rises 0.3% to 63,560.8594 and Ethereum gains 0.7% to 1,890.55. Solana adds 1.1%, XRP rises 0.5%, BNB gains 0.2%, and Dogecoin climbs 0.9%.
The total crypto market cap increases 0.2% to $2.3T. Bitcoin dominance stands at 56.2%, while Ethereum dominance is 10.1%.
The larger trend still looks mixed beneath the surface. Bitcoin remains below its 200-day average, and Ethereum and Solana are also below theirs.
CoinDesk headlines focus on Tether’s audit, fundraising chatter, and other industry news, but the tape itself is mostly a modest grind higher rather than a breakout.
