A light calendar turns busier next week, with several small and mid-cap reports lined up.

The earnings headlines in the payload stay focused on bigger-picture commentary and a few recent reports. CNBC Earnings highlights Cisco, Cerebras, CoreWeave, TSMC, Cardinal Health, and Berkshire, while also noting Trump Media’s second-quarter loss and stronger AI-related demand at TSMC and CoreWeave.
Because today’s data does not tie those headlines to the day’s broad index moves, the cleanest read is simply that earnings season remains active. The calendar ahead is heavier on August 17 than August 15.
