Oracle and Darden help drive the earnings conversation
Corporate headlines span cloud spending, restaurant demand, and a full slate of reports already on the calendar.
Earnings headlines are active. CNBC says Oracle sends a force majeure notice about a data center project, and the stock sinks 5%. CNBC also says Darden Restaurants falls as Olive Garden reports slower growth.
Other company news adds to the mix. Starbucks says it will shutter about 250 stores, and CNBC reports that Meta debuts $1,299 VR Glasses and a Muse Charm pendant as part of its AI push.
