Tesla, Broadcom, and Micron stay in focus ahead of reports
Watchlist names keep moving as the calendar fills with October earnings.
Earnings and earnings-linked names keep driving a chunk of the single-stock action. On the watchlist, TSLA rises 4.7%, SMCI gains 4.2%, AVGO adds 3.4%, ORCL climbs 3.1%, and AMD rises 3.0%.
On the downside, NKE falls 3.6%, COIN drops 3.3%, MU loses 2.1%, F slips 1.4%, and GM falls 1.3%. CNBC Earnings also flags Nike’s disappointing sales and layoffs, along with Rivian’s strong deliveries and reconfirmed 2026 guidance.
The broader marketwide list shows more tech strength, with MXL up 15.0%, IMOS up 14.6%, and SYNA up 14.1%. At the same time, storage names take a hit, with WDC down 10.2% and STX down 10.2%.
On the calendar, VFS reports today. MKC and BRTX are next on October 5, followed by STZ, RPM, LW, WS, PENG, APOG, and NEOG on October 6. LEVI, APLD, RGP, RELL, and NRIX report October 7, and PEP, KARO, HELE, and TLRY are due October 8.
