Bitcoin slips as crypto market cap falls
The crypto market loses ground even as Bitcoin stays above its long-term trend lines.
Bitcoin falls 1.1% to 85,558.1172, Ethereum slips 0.9% to 2,703.1201, and Solana drops 1.0% to 120.28. XRP falls 1.5%, BNB loses 1.8%, and Dogecoin declines 1.4%.
The total crypto market cap drops 2.8% to $2.9T. Bitcoin dominance stands at 58.7%, while Ether dominance is 11.3%.
Bitcoin remains above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, but it is still 4.1% below its 52-week high. Ethereum and Solana also stay above their longer-term averages.
