Evercore ISI points to profit growth in least loved stocks
Evercore ISI says improving earnings could help lift the S&P 500 by easing investor concerns around artificial intelligence.
MarketWatch reports Evercore ISI believes investors should focus on a group of large, so-called least loved stocks ahead of earnings.
According to the firm, expected profit growth can outweigh what it describes as artificial intelligence related worries.
MarketWatch also says Evercore ISI expects the outlook for these stocks to support a rise in the S&P 500.
