Alphabet shares slide after report says Gemini 3.5 Pro rollout delayed
Alphabet shares fell after a report said its most powerful AI model, Gemini 3.5 Pro, is delayed.
CNBC Markets said Alphabet had announced Gemini 3.5 Pro in May, with the model being used internally, but that a broader rollout would not be ready until the following month.
The report attributed the share move to investors reacting to the timing change for the wider release of the AI system.
