Warren says CFPB rollback has cost Americans up to $26.5 billion
Senator Elizabeth Warren attributes the figure to reduced CFPB rules and enforcement under the Trump administration.
CNBC Markets reports that Sen. Elizabeth Warren said the Trump administration's CFPB overhaul has cost Americans up to $26.5 billion so far.
Warren argued that the losses stem from rollbacks of consumer finance rules and a reduction in enforcement activity by the agency.
