Wipro Q1 profit edges up 0.65% YoY, revenue grows 10.6%
The company also flagged sequential IT services revenue guidance of -1.5% to +0.5% in constant currency.
Indian IT services company Wipro reported Q1FY27 results on 16 July, with consolidated profit rising 0.65% year on year to ₹3,352 crore for the April to June quarter. Profit was ₹3,330.4 crore in the same quarter a year earlier, while revenue from operations increased 10.6% YoY to ₹24,478.6 crore from ₹22,134.6 crore.
Sequentially, Wipro’s profit fell 4.3% quarter on quarter, though revenue from operations inched up 1%. In constant currency terms, revenue declined 1.2% QoQ and increased 0.9% YoY to $2.61 billion, according to LiveMint Markets, with IT services segment revenue at $2,614.5 million for the quarter.
Wipro cited demand for AI-enabled operating models beyond technology modernization, describing its consulting-led, AI-powered approach as part of that shift. The firm said operating cash flow remained robust at 98% of net income for the quarter, while total contract value for large deals was $1.6 billion, up 12.9% QoQ in constant currency, and booking declined 2.4% QoQ in constant currency to $3.4 billion.
The company expects IT Services revenue to be in the range of $2,574 million to $2,627 million, representing sequential guidance of -1.5% to +0.5% in constant currency terms. Wipro’s board also approved an interim dividend of ₹2 per equity share, with a record date of 27 July 2026 and payment due on or before 14 August, according to the report.
