Upwork and Wix report 2025 financial results amid AI-driven shift
Upwork and Wix.com, both tied to digital services spending, reported 2025 performance as businesses increasingly adapt to artificial intelligence. Upwork, the remote-work marketplace connecting companies with independent professionals across 90 countries, posted 2025 fiscal-year revenue of $787.8 million, up 2.4% year over year, along with net income of $115.4 million. For Upwork, the company’s net margin for FY 2025 was 14.7%, and its debt-to-equity ratio was 0.6x as of December 2025. Upwork also reported a 1.5x current ratio, and free cash flow of $242.5 million for FY 2025. The filing notes that stock-based compensation represented 26.3% of operating cash flow, a factor that can inflate reported cash generation since it is a non-cash expense. The same period showed Wix.com, which offers an AI-powered website builder and domain registrar service, generated FY 2025 revenue of $2.0 billion, up 13.2%. Wix.com reported net income of $50.6 million and a net margin of 2.5% for FY 2025, reflecting a smaller portion of sales converting to profit relative to Upwork.
