Housing costs top political issue for young voters, CNBC survey shows

In the survey, Americans ages 18 to 34 ranked housing costs as their No. 1 priority, ahead of concerns about the cost of food and healthcare.

CNBC Markets said the results point to housing affordability pressures as a central issue for younger adults when thinking about politics and policy.
