Sobha Q1 revenue jumps 50%, net profit more than triples
The June 2026 quarter operating margins expanded 330 basis points year over year to 10.1%, despite revenue falling 35.7% sequentially.
Indian real estate developer Sobha Ltd. reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,278.2 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, up 50% year over year, though it fell 35.7% sequentially from ₹1,987.8 crore in the prior March quarter.
Net profit rose to ₹50.8 crore, more than tripling from ₹13.6 crore a year earlier, according to the companys regulatory filing. On a sequential basis, profit declined 44.6% from ₹91.8 crore.
Sobhas real estate segment remained the main growth driver, with segment revenue increasing to ₹1,109.8 crore from ₹689.7 crore a year ago. EBITDA climbed to ₹77.6 crore from ₹23.7 crore, and margins expanded 330 basis points year over year to 10.1%.
Alongside the results, the board approved raising up to ₹1,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures on a private placement basis in one or more tranches. The report also noted recent share price volatility, with the stock down 16% from its November high and trading 33% below its all-time high.
