Adani Energy Solutions Q1 profit rises 124% to ₹1,149 crore
Revenue from operations jumped 42.4% year-on-year to ₹9,711.1 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, driven by higher power purchase costs.
Adani Energy Solutions reported consolidated net profit of ₹1,149 crore for the April to June quarter, up 124.2% year-on-year from ₹512.5 crore, according to LiveMint Markets, citing Reuters.
Revenue from operations rose 42.4% year-on-year to ₹9,711.1 crore, compared with ₹6,819.3 crore in the year-ago quarter. On a sequential basis, revenue increased to ₹7,443 crore from ₹6,819.3 crore reported in the March quarter, while profit after tax rose from ₹723 crore.
The company said total expenses increased to ₹8,440 crore from ₹5,864 crore, mainly due to higher power purchase costs and increased construction expenses tied to service concession arrangements. Power purchase costs more than doubled to ₹3,561 crore from ₹1,724 crore, while construction expenses rose to ₹2,138 crore from ₹1,742 crore.
Segment results showed growth across transmission, distribution, and smart meters. Transmission revenue increased to ₹3,335 crore from ₹2,188 crore, distribution revenue rose to ₹3,520 crore from ₹3,360 crore, and smart meter revenue surged to ₹347 crore from ₹112 crore.
