Prop trading firms compete with payout splits, access and platforms
Benzinga highlights firms that emphasize broker backed or flexible evaluation paths, multi asset access, and fee and profit sharing models for traders.
Prop trading firms are increasingly competing on evaluation rules, payout structures, market access, and trading platform options, according to a Benzinga roundup of the best prop trading firms for 2026.
The piece notes that Apex Trader Funding is positioned for futures traders, with an evaluation that allows trading mini or micro contracts, and a payout structure that provides 100% of the first $25,000 earned per account, followed by 90% after that.
For Traders, launched in mid 2023, is described as beginner friendly and globally accessible, with more than $10 million in payouts in less than a year and a community of more than 150,000 traders across 130 plus countries.
The roundup also says For Traders supports trading forex, crypto, and futures on platforms including MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, and For Traders X, and it limits users to a maximum capital allocation of $300,000.
