Amphenol seen as AI infrastructure beneficiary as connector demand rises

Brasada Capital Management’s Q2 2026 investor letter points to a 400.0% jump in memory demand tied to AI, alongside slow supply response and minimal demand destruction.

Brasada Capital Management discussed Amphenol Corporation in its Q2 2026 investor letter, framing the company as a key supplier of electrical, electronic, and fiber optic connectors used across modern electronics infrastructure.

The letter said the market environment over the past quarter was heavily influenced by rapid advances in artificial intelligence, noting that AI has been driving demand patterns while largely overshadowing other concerns.

Brasada pointed to what it described as a 400.0% increase in memory demand due to AI, a supply response that takes years to catch up, and minimal demand destruction as factors shaping the cycle.

For Amphenol, the source also cited recent trading and scale, including a July 22, 2026 close of $157.51 per share, a one-month return of -4.6%, and a market capitalization of $193.8 billion, positioning the business around mission-critical components designed to help power, signal, and data flow reliably.
