DSM Fresh Foods shares jump 32% in two sessions on Q1 revenue surge
The company said Q1FY27 revenue from operations rose 58% year on year to about ₹74 crore, after its Meevaa Foods acquisition.
DSM Fresh Foods stock jumped nearly 32% across two consecutive sessions after the company reported a sharp rise in Q1FY27 revenue. On Thursday, the shares hit an intraday high of ₹92.50 and closed at ₹89.50 on the BSE, up 11.17%, following a gain of 18.50% in the prior session, according to LiveMint Markets.
In an exchange filing on 22 July, the company said revenue from operations increased 58% year on year to approximately ₹74 crore for Q1FY27. It also pointed to the first week of July 2026 acquisition of Meevaa Foods, saying the combined business is running at an estimated pro-forma quarterly revenue run-rate of about ₹85 crore.
DSM Fresh Foods attributed further progress in the April to June quarter to expansion of its omnichannel presence, including rapid retail growth, deeper customer relationships, scaling Meevaa Foods, and investments across its farm-to-fork platform. It said it added more than 70 new enterprise customers during the quarter and expanded customer reach through channels such as Amazon and Blinkit, along with modern retail and other omnichannel distribution.
The company also said it expanded its retail footprint to about 200 co-branded retail outlets, ahead of its original FY27 target of 150. DSM Fresh Foods reiterated its long-term plan to reach ₹600 crore in revenue by FY28 with an EBITDA margin of 18% to 20%, driven by branded consumer business expansion, value-added products, and operating leverage from its integrated platform.
