Baird starts CoreWeave with Outperform, citing AI infrastructure runway

The analyst set a $100 price target and highlighted CoreWeave’s ability to scale to more than 1 gigawatt of active power as AI cloud demand grows.

Yahoo Finance reports that Baird analyst Rob Oliver initiated coverage of CoreWeave with an Outperform rating and a $100 price target, arguing the company remains well positioned in purpose built AI infrastructure.

The coverage note says CoreWeave has already demonstrated it can expand at scale, reaching more than 1 gigawatt of active power, as demand for high performance computing accelerates.

Oliver also pointed to CoreWeave’s software platform and its long standing relationship with Nvidia as potential advantages amid intensifying competition.

While acknowledging concerns including power availability, hardware supply, and opposition to new data centers, Yahoo Finance reports Oliver said those execution challenges underscore why experience building AI infrastructure could matter most.
