Super Micro flags improving profitability in preliminary Q4 update
Super Micro said its fiscal 2026 fourth-quarter revenue is likely near the low end of prior guidance, as gross margin and order momentum show progress after prior accounting and export-control scrutiny.
Super Micro Computer is providing a preliminary look at its fiscal 2026 fourth quarter, after a period of heightened scrutiny that included delays to its annual report tied to internal reviews of its accounting practices and allegations related to export control violations, according to Yahoo Finance.
The company designs and builds high-performance servers, storage, and networking equipment used in AI data centers, including systems that integrate Nvidia GPUs into rack-scale solutions. The relationship is positioned as a key part of delivering turnkey infrastructure for AI deployments.
For the period ended June 30, Super Micro estimates revenue will be near the low end of its previously issued guidance range of $11 billion to $12.5 billion, while management highlighted improving profitability metrics and what it described as exceptional order momentum in its preliminary update.
The outlet also notes that the turnaround effort can be viewed as a potential near-term catalyst for Nvidia investors, given Super Micro’s role in supplying AI data center physical infrastructure that incorporates Nvidia accelerators.
