Sakar Healthcare shares rise after Q1FY27 net profit jumps 120% YoY
In Q1FY27, revenue from operations grew 38% YoY to ₹72.97 crore, while EBITDA climbed 67% YoY to ₹21.25 crore and margins expanded.
Sakar Healthcare shares jumped more than 4% on the NSE on Monday after the company reported results for the April to June quarter. The stock opened at ₹817.45, compared with the previous close of ₹802.20, and hit an intraday high of ₹833.90 on 27 July, according to LiveMint Markets.
For the quarter ended June 2026, revenue from operations rose 38% year on year to ₹72.97 crore from ₹52.73 crore. The company said the growth was driven by new market authorisations for oncology products, demand across geographies, and steady execution of business initiatives.
Earnings also improved sharply, with EBITDA increasing 67% YoY to ₹21.25 crore and the EBITDA margin rising to 29% from 24% a year earlier. Net profit surged 120% YoY to ₹10.28 crore, lifting PAT margin to 14% from 9%, supported by operating leverage, improved efficiencies, and disciplined cost management.
In comments carried by LiveMint Markets, Managing Director Sanjay Shah said the quarter reflected steady year on year progress and that converting regulatory approvals into commercial launches, growing export opportunities, and ramping up oncology volumes should support higher capacity utilisation and operating leverage. The company highlighted its oncology business as a key pillar, citing its product pipeline, regulatory progress, and expanding international presence.
