Bajaj Housing Finance Q1 profit rises 22.6% to ₹715.28 crore

Net interest income increased 9.0% to ₹968 crore, and AUM grew 24.0% to ₹1,49,624 crore by June 30, 2026.

Bajaj Housing Finance posted a 22.6% year-on-year rise in Q1 profit to ₹715.28 crore for the June quarter, according to LiveMint Markets. The lender reported higher interest income and total revenue from operations during the period under review.

Interest income rose 14.6% to ₹2,856.07 crore from ₹2,492.59 crore in the year-ago quarter, while total revenue from operations increased 17.2% to ₹3,063.02 crore. Net interest income also grew 9.0% to ₹968 crore, and pre-provisioning operating profit rose 19% year over year to ₹945 crore.

Assets under management grew 24.0% to ₹1,49,624 crore as of June 30, 2026. Asset quality improved slightly, with gross NPA at 0.29% and net NPA at 0.12%, compared with 0.30% and 0.13% a year earlier.

Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance closed 2.22% higher at ₹87.53 on the BSE on Wednesday, the outlet said.
