Balkrishna Industries shares jump after Q1 FY27 profit and dividend
The tyre maker reported Q1 FY27 net profit up 56.4% year over year to ₹451 crore and set August 4, 2026 as the dividend record date.
Balkrishna Industries shares rose on Thursday, July 30, after the company reported Q1 FY27 results and declared a final dividend at its AGM held on July 29, according to LiveMint Markets.
The company said consolidated net profit climbed 56.4% year over year to ₹451 crore, while revenue from operations increased 25% year over year to ₹3,455 crore. It also reported an EBITDA margin of 21% in Q1 FY27, down 40 basis points quarter over quarter.
Alongside the quarterly performance, the board declared a final dividend of ₹4 per equity share for FY27, representing 200% on equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each. The dividend will be credited or dispatched within 30 days of declaration, and August 4, 2026 was fixed as the record date for eligible shareholders.
In its operations update, the company said its Off-Highway Tyre business contributed 90% of total revenue in the quarter. LiveMint Markets also noted that the stock surged as much as 10.3% to an intraday high of ₹2,295 on the BSE after the announcements.
