Redington shares jump 18% to record high after Q1 profit growth
The June-quarter PAT excluding exceptional items rose 77% year-on-year to ₹486 crore, with consolidated revenue up 34% to ₹34,966 crore.
Redington shares surged 18% in Thursday trading, July 30, to reach a new all-time high of ₹338.50 after the company reported strong June-quarter results. According to LiveMint Markets, Redington posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit in Q1 FY27. Consolidated revenue rose 34% year-on-year to ₹34,966 crore, while profit after tax (PAT), excluding exceptional items, increased 77% year-on-year to ₹486 crore, with a PAT margin of 1.4% for the quarter.
The company said performance was broad-based across its businesses and operating markets. In India, revenue grew 63% year-on-year and PAT rose 60% year-on-year, supported by large enterprise deals, higher PC realisations amid industry-wide memory supply constraints, premiumisation in mobility, and continued demand across cloud and cybersecurity.
LiveMint Markets also noted growth outside India, with revenue from the Middle East and Africa up 15% year-on-year, supported by cloud and cybersecurity offerings despite geopolitical uncertainty. Redington added that its technology portfolio showed momentum, including 52% growth at its Software Solutions Group, 35% growth at Endpoint Solutions Group, 21% growth at Mobility Solutions Group, and 50% growth at Technology Solutions Group.
