Constellium raises 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance after record performance

The aluminum recycler reported record Adjusted EBITDA of $310.0 million and expects full-year free cash flow above EUR 300.0 million.

Constellium SE reported record Adjusted EBITDA of $310.0 million for Q2 2026, excluding metal price lag, citing strong operational execution and favorable market dynamics across Aerospace and TID. The company said it capitalized on North American automotive supply shortages that followed a competitor's facility fire, shifting rolling capacity to higher-value products to support customers. It also pointed to improved scrap spreads and recycling productivity in both North America and Europe, which management described as a competitive advantage. Constellium tied Aerospace performance to easing supply chain destocking and robust demand for high-value proprietary solutions in space and military aviation. It also said it maintained a pass-through business model to mitigate primary aluminum price volatility, focusing instead on recycling returns and cost control. In its outlook, Constellium raised full-year 2026 Adjusted EBITDA guidance to EUR 980.0 million to EUR 1,020.0 million, saying it is effectively reaching 2028 strategic targets two years ahead of schedule. The company expects free cash flow to exceed EUR 300.0 million for the year, while noting that recycling benefits are expected to taper in the second half of 2026 as conditions stabilize, according to a Yahoo Finance earnings call summary.
