Revenue from operations rose 27.6% YoY to ₹29,523.30 crore, while ITC said pricing actions and portfolio interventions are underway to protect its consumer franchise.

Indian FMCG company ITC reported a 16.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated profit to ₹4,394.13 crore for the April to June quarter of the current financial year, Q1FY27, LiveMint Markets reported. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, profit fell 18.4% from ₹5,387.97 crore in Q4FY26.

The company said revenue from operations increased 27.6% YoY and 23.9% QoQ to ₹29,523.30 crore, alongside consolidated gross revenue up 27.8% YoY to ₹29,410 crore. EBITDA was ₹5,181 crore, down 24% YoY.

On a standalone basis, ITC profit declined 27.1% YoY to ₹3,579 crore, with revenue down 14.4% YoY to ₹16,812 crore. EBITDA fell 27.9% YoY to ₹4,514 crore, and EBITDA margin shrank by 500 basis points to 26.7%, the outlet said.

ITC attributed the trend to actions underway, saying it has implemented staggered and agile pricing efforts and multiple interventions to re-architect and fortify its portfolio. Segment updates included segment gross revenue rising 80.6% YoY to ₹15,383.55 crore, while the notebooks business rebounded and paperboards and packaging was affected by the West Asia conflict, which it linked to trade disruptions and a high base.
