Palantir shares rise ahead of quarterly results
The move comes as investors look for updates on commercial agreement momentum and overseas contract renewals, with results due after the bell.
Palantir shares rose nearly 2% on Monday ahead of its fiscal Q2 earnings release after the bell, according to Yahoo Finance.
The report highlights that investors are focused on the companys progress on commercial agreements, which the outlet says have accelerated this year, as well as renewals of overseas contracts.
Yahoo Finance also points to Palantirs Maven Smart System being named an official Pentagon program of record earlier this year, a development it says gives the company a bigger role in US military AI projects for years.
Despite the pre-results jump, Palantir is still down more than 30% year to date, after what the outlet describes as an AI disruption scare earlier in 2026 that weighed on the broader software complex.
