Palantir heads into Q2 earnings amid valuation concerns
Palantir will report Q2 earnings on Aug. 3, with management projecting about $1.8 billion in revenue for the quarter.
Palantir Technologies is set to report its second-quarter earnings on Aug. 3, as analysts expect another solid quarter driven by accelerating revenue growth and expanding margins, according to Yahoo Finance.
Despite the improving fundamentals, Palantir shares have struggled in 2026, with the stock down about 32% year-to-date and falling more than 41% from its 52-week high. The selloff has been attributed primarily to valuation concerns and intensifying competition in enterprise AI as more AI startups emerge.
Yahoo Finance also points to continued demand for Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform, saying enterprises are using the AIP to develop, deploy, and scale AI applications across commercial and government customers. The outlet notes Palantir delivered first-quarter revenue of $1.63 billion, up 85% year-over-year, its 11th straight quarter of accelerating top-line growth.
For Q2, management expects revenue of about $1.8 billion. Yahoo Finance adds that the recent drop in the stock has lowered its valuation and that the average Wall Street price target implies roughly 60% upside over the next 12 months, should Palantir again deliver strong growth, margins, and guidance.
