SpaceX, AMD and other tech names set for earnings after the bell
SpaceX is set to deliver its first quarterly results since its $150 debut, while the Nasdaq rose more than 2% on Monday ahead of the releases.
Yahoo Finance reports that tech stocks opened the week higher, with the Nasdaq climbing more than 2% on Monday as investors looked ahead to several major earnings events after the bell.
The outlet said Wall Street is preparing for SpaceX's first-ever quarterly earnings report, noting the stock has fallen nearly 30% from its $150 debut price and that investors are watching for potential catalysts.
Yahoo Finance also pointed to earnings from AMD, saying the results could offer additional insight into the state of the AI chip market, while Intel already reported last month with results that topped analysts' estimates and guidance that came in better than expected.
Elsewhere, the outlet said Amazon's market capitalization topped $3 trillion for the first time on Monday, and that Microsoft shares continued to climb after strong earnings last week.
