AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile shares fall after SpaceX earnings
SpaceX said it expects to develop wireless capabilities without the kind of major network investments that large carriers typically require, a premise investors appear to be weighing.
Shares of AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile fell after SpaceX posted earnings, according to MarketWatch.
MarketWatch reports that SpaceX’s outlook centers on the idea that it can build out wireless capabilities without massive network investments.
That view is being interpreted by investors as potentially challenging the traditional investment model for large wireless operators.
As a result, the carriers’ stocks moved lower in the immediate reaction to SpaceX’s earnings.
