China exports rise 23.0% year over year in July
Imports grew 27.5% year over year, leaving a $112.5 billion trade surplus for July, according to China’s US dollar denominated trade data.
Forexlive reports that China’s July trade data showed exports rising 23.0% year over year, slightly above the expected 22.2% increase, after a prior reading of 27.0%.
The outlet said July imports climbed 27.5% year over year, easing from the prior 36.0% pace and coming in below expectations of 27.9%.
Forexlive also cited a July trade surplus of $112.5 billion, compared with expectations of $107.0 billion and a prior surplus of 125.62 billion.
