Krispy Kreme reports 43% adjusted EBITDA growth in Q2
The doughnut chain forecast 2026 net revenue of $1.25 billion to $1.35 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $140 million to $150 million after refranchising boosted profitability.
Krispy Kreme, Inc. reported second quarter adjusted EBITDA growth of 43.2% to $28.8 million as its turnaround strategy gathered momentum, while net revenue fell 12.8% to $331.0 million.
The company attributed the revenue decline to its refranchising approach and the closure of underperforming stores. System-wide sales increased 1.1% in constant currency to $497.3 million, and rose 2.6% excluding sales tied to the now-ended McDonald's U.S. partnership.
Krispy Kreme said demand for its fresh doughnuts in the U.S. and international markets supported system-wide sales growth on a comparable basis. The company maintained its fiscal outlook for 2026.
For the full fiscal year 2026, Krispy Kreme expects net revenue between $1.25 billion and $1.35 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $140 million to $150 million, according to results shared by Yahoo Finance.
