BigBloc Construction stock set for focus after Q1 FY27 results
Revenue from operations rose 40.5% year over year to ₹79.14 crore in Q1 FY27, while the net loss narrowed to ₹71.95 lakh.
BigBloc Construction Limited shares are expected to remain in focus after the company announced its April to June quarter results for fiscal year 2027 on Friday, 7 August, LiveMint Markets reports. The stock ended the previous session up 0.43% at ₹46.92.
The company said demand across key markets stayed healthy, supported by improved operational efficiency and progress on its long-term growth strategy. BigBloc is positioning itself as an integrated green building solutions provider, including expansion into higher-value product segments such as AAC Wall Panels and Construction Chemicals, while scaling up manufacturing capacity and emphasizing sustainable construction.
BigBloc reported revenue from operations of ₹79.14 crore in Q1 FY27, up 40.5% year over year from ₹56.35 crore in the prior-year quarter. Profitability improved as the net loss narrowed to ₹71.95 lakh from ₹4.96 crore in Q1 FY26.
EBITDA increased 386% year over year to ₹6.28 crore, lifting the EBITDA margin to 7.93% from 4.07% in Q1 FY26, with the margin at 7.31% in Q4 FY26. Consolidated capacity utilization was 69% in the quarter, with BigBloc Building Elements at 84% and SIAM Cement BigBloc Construction Technologies at 38%, while the company attributed the gains to production efficiency, tighter cost management, and higher contribution from value-added products.
