KLA stock falls amid China export fears as analysts raise upside bets

China accounts for roughly 30% of KLA revenue, and the company guided Q1 FY2027 revenue to $4.0 billion plus or minus $200 million.

KLA shares fell sharply after renewed worries about U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security export restrictions on sales into China, where the company generated roughly $4.0 billion in its last fiscal year, about 30% of annual revenue, according to Yahoo Finance.

The outlet said KLA dropped 11% over the past month and underperformed peers including LRCX, down 6%, and AMAT, down 5%, even after the company posted a “clean beat” and strong forward guidance.

Yahoo Finance reported that Cantor Fitzgerald’s C.J. Muse set a $325 target on KLA, implying about 66% upside from current levels, despite KLA trading around $195.78 versus a consensus 12-month analyst target of $230.85, implying roughly 17.9% upside.

The article also cited management guidance for Q1 FY2027 revenue of $4.0 billion plus or minus $200 million, with non-GAAP EPS of $1.16 plus or minus $0.10, and noted insider selling of about $34 million across multiple officers under Rule 10b5-1 plans adopted February 2, 2026.
