INSight Capital closes equity offering after raising about $37.4 million
The Nebraska-based firm originally targeted $50.0 million, but it said it would not raise the remaining $12.6 million after closing.
INSight Capital, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based firm that supports independent insurance agencies, has closed its equity offering after raising approximately $37.4 million from 47 investors, according to an amended Form D filed with the SEC, as described by Coverager.
The company had initially targeted $50 million, but disclosed in the filing that it does not intend to raise the remaining $12.6 million. Coverager also notes that INSight Capital had raised $6.3 million as of June 2025.
Founded in 2022, INSight Capital provides capital and succession-planning options for independent insurance agencies, particularly in the Midwest. Its model is designed to allow agency owners to sell their businesses or exchange ownership in their agencies for equity in INSight Capital.
Coverager said the company is positioning itself as a capital and succession-planning partner for independent agencies, with a focus on the Midwest. The amended filing also lists an estimated $1.1 million closing fee to related persons.
