Eli Lilly tops Q2 results and raises full-year revenue guidance

Lilly reported Q2 EPS of $8.38, 27.3% above consensus, and said full-year revenue will rise to $85 to $87 billion.

Eli Lilly delivered a Q2 earnings and revenue beat and lifted its full-year outlook, reinforcing bullish expectations for its obesity and diabetes franchise, according to Yahoo Finance.

In the quarter, Lilly posted revenue of $22.97 billion and EPS of $8.38, with EPS coming in 27.3% above the consensus estimate. Mounjaro revenue surged 91% to $9.94 billion, supported by international growth after China added the drug to its National Reimbursement Drug List.

Lilly raised full-year revenue guidance to $85 to $87 billion and increased its performance margin range to 49% to 50.5%. Yahoo Finance also highlighted upcoming catalysts including retatrutide's Q1 2027 BLA filing and the oral GLP-1 pill Foundayo, which is tied to an obesity approval and a type 2 diabetes submission.

On valuation and outlook, the article cited a 12-month price target of $1,427 with 90% model confidence, implying 15.8% upside, while noting a bull case near $1,646.99 and a bear case near $1,167.64. It also mentioned Q2 realized prices falling about 9% excluding rebates and $2.78 billion in IPR&D charges from four acquisitions.
