Immersion Investment Partners says Red Violet helped drive 39.1% Q2 gains

The firm returned 39.1% in Q2 2025, citing stronger management, revenue growth, and improving cash flow after buying more shares during macro selloffs.

Immersion Investment Partners said its second-quarter performance reflected a shift in how the market valued its non-AI investments, and it pointed to Red Violet, Inc. as one holding highlighted in its Q2 2026 investor letter, according to Yahoo Finance.

Yahoo Finance reported that Immersion Investment Partners returned 39.1% in the second quarter, outperforming the Russell 2000 Index, which gained 21.5%. The firm attributed the results to how it responded to macro-driven market selloffs by increasing positions at lower prices, which helped some holdings rebound in the quarter.

Red Violet, a software and services company focused on identity intelligence and risk management, was also noted in the letter. Yahoo Finance said Red Violet shares closed at $65.65 on August 10, 2026, and that the stock is down 4.1% over one month and up 53.8% over the past 52 weeks.

Yahoo Finance added that, in its Q2 2026 investor letter, Immersion Investment Partners argued Red Violet’s core identity offering is not exposed to AI threats and described its custom-built AI-driven CORE platform, including continuous monitoring and live profile updates, as part of its view of the company.
