Mercury EV-Tech shares likely in focus after June quarter results

The company reported Q1FY27 revenue of ₹33.4 crore, with EBITDA up 38.1% to ₹2.62 crore, while net profit declined 4.2% to ₹1.56 crore.

Mercury EV-Tech, which manufactures and trades electric vehicles and other renewable energy products, is expected to draw investor attention on Friday, 14 August, after posting its June quarter performance for Q1FY27, according to LiveMint Markets.

For the quarter, revenue from operations rose 47.9% year over year to ₹33.38 crore, and total revenue including other income increased to ₹33.74 crore. On a sequential basis, revenue from operations climbed 65.2% from ₹20.21 crore in Q4FY26.

Operating profit improved, with EBITDA increasing 38.1% year over year to ₹2.62 crore. EBITDA margin was 10.8%, while consolidated net profit fell 4.2% year over year to ₹1.56 crore, with profitability affected by higher operating expenses.

Shares have struggled to recover momentum after an all time high of ₹140 in September 2024, and the stock is down more than 74% to around ₹34. LiveMint Markets also notes that the shares still show strong longer term performance, including about 1,775% over five years.
