Trade Desk drops after earnings miss while Oklo shares rise
FactSet data project S&P 500 second-quarter earnings growth of 47.5% year over year, above multi-year averages.
Earnings season kept driving market moves, with The Trade Desk shares falling after an earnings miss while Oklo rose on a stated criticality milestone, according to Yahoo Finance’s live earnings updates.
The report also flagged other companies set to report around the same period, including Vistra Corp., Take-Two Interactive Software, Under Armour, and Wendy’s, as the week’s earnings slate continued.
Yahoo Finance cited FactSet data showing analysts estimate the S&P 500’s year-over-year earnings growth rate for the second quarter at 47.5%, well above the five-year average of 16.4% and the 10-year average of 10.3%.
If those estimates hold, the outlet said it would mark the second consecutive quarter of S&P 500 earnings growth above 20%, and the seventh straight quarter of double-digit growth.
