Baker Tilly names Tom Broderick chief growth officer

Broderick, who takes the role on October 1, 2026, will lead the firmwide growth strategy and coordinate sales, marketing, client experience, and market intelligence.

Baker Tilly has appointed Tom Broderick as its new chief growth officer, effective October 1, 2026, with the role based in the firm’s senior leadership team.

Broderick will report to Fred Massanova, North American managing principal and chief operating officer, and will succeed Rebecca Pomering, who is scheduled to retire at the end of 2026 after nearly 30 years with the firm. Pomering will work with Broderick and other leaders to support a transition.

In his new position, Broderick is tasked with overseeing Baker Tilly’s firmwide growth strategy, including coordinating industry and regional leaders with functions tied to sales, marketing, client experience, and market intelligence to turn client needs and insights into targeted growth initiatives.

According to the International Accounting Bulletin, Broderick currently chairs Baker Tilly’s regional principals, and the firm also noted that Massanova will continue leading Baker Tilly’s North American business, including operating performance and mergers and acquisitions strategy.
